Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple, as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west part of the temple. Swayambhunath, the Buddhist temple is situated on the top of a hill on the west of Kathmandu is one of the popular holy and instantly recognized symbols of Nepal. Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu Valley. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire are visible for many miles and from all sides of the Valley. The site has two access points, a long stairway with 365 steps leading directly to the main platform of the temple, which is from the top of the hill to the east and a car road around the hill from the south leading to the southwest entrance.
Day 1: Pick up from Airport and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive to Swayambhunath. Visit Spiritual Sites of Swayambhunath and some briefing about this tour overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5: Departure to Airport and back to Home.
