Lumbini / 蓝毗尼

Lumbini is the greatest Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal. It is a small town in the southern Terai plains is 306 km from Kathmandu.  It is the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam – better known as Buddha – the symbol of peace. The birth place itself is interesting as a whole, the landscapes and the green forestry. A visit to Lumbini is not only for spiritual enlightenment but also for solace and satisfaction that one gets in such a calm and peaceful place. The Lumbini museum has a large collection of the Mauryan and Kushana coins, religious manuscripts, fragments, stone and metal sculptures.


Day 1: Pick up from Airport and move to Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Fly or Drive to Lumbini.

Day 3: Visit Spiritual and Archaeological Sites of Lumbini and stay at Hotel. 

Day 4: Fly or Drive to Kathmandu.

Day 5: Departure to Airport and back to Home.
